Performance & Test Standards
1. Durability & Abrasion Resistance
Nylon 1000D Cordura fabric is well-known for its exceptional durability. With high tensile and tear strength, it can withstand heavy load and frequent friction in outdoor and tactical conditions. The fabric is tested according to ASTM and ISO standards, reaching ≥ 100,000 abrasion cycles, which is suitable for long-term use in backpacks, military packs, and professional equipment.
2. Waterproof & Water Repellent Performance
This 1000D Cordura fabric is finished with a durable water repellent (DWR) treatment on the surface and a PU coating on the back side. The hydrostatic pressure can be adjusted from 1000 mm to 3000 mm according to your project requirement. It provides reliable protection against rain and moisture while maintaining good hand-feel and flexibility.
3. Strength & Stability
High tenacity Nylon 6 / 6.6 yarns ensure stable tensile and tear strength in both warp and weft directions. With controlled weight and construction, this fabric offers a stable performance in cutting, sewing, and long-term use, reducing the risk of tearing or deformation under load.
4. Optional Flame Retardant & IRR
For military, camping or safety applications, flame retardant and IRR (infrared reflectance) versions are available on request. We can develop CPAI-84 and NFPA 701 compliant FR 1000D Cordura fabrics, and also adjust color and finish to meet IRR/NIR requirements for tactical use.

Q1: Can you adjust the weight and coating thickness of this 1000D Cordura fabric?
Yes. We can adjust the fabric weight and PU coating thickness according to your application and budget. For example, we can make 350–420 gsm and 1000–3000 mm hydrostatic pressure. Just tell us your target.
Q2: Is this fabric available in IRR or NIR-compliant version?
IRR / NIR-compliant Cordura fabrics can be developed based on your required standard and color. For military or tactical projects, please send us your color standard and test requirement for evaluation.
Q3: What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
For bulk production, our standard MOQ is around 1000–2000 meters per color. For trial orders or development, we can discuss smaller quantity based on available greige or stock colors.
Q4: Can you match my Pantone color or original fabric sample?
Yes. We can make lab dips and printings according to Pantone code, physical fabric sample, or your color standard. Normally we need 5–7 days for lab dips.
Q5: How do you control shade and quality between different lots?
Each production lot is checked in-house or by third-party inspection if required. We keep retain samples and production records for color, weight, width and coating, to ensure stable quality in repeat orders.
